Adrian Goodwin is an Australian forestry consultant and growth modeling expert. Adrian will be presenting a talk on the “Farm Forestry Toolbox”(FFT) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farm_Forestry_Toolbox) which he developed and maintains. A range of the programs that makeup the FFT will be discussed including:

• Basal area wedge calibration
• Log volumes using different equations – Huber, Smalian, Newton, JAS, & Brereton
• A simple GIS system
• Forest disease diagnosis
• A visual forest inventory system with user-defined grades, and inbuilt log-assortment.
• A forest growth and finance system which responds to user-defined management regimes, costs and revenues.
